What is Pandanda?

Pandanda is a vibrant and fun online community designed especially for kids’ ages 6-14 years old! Kids get to create an online character (a very cute red panda), decorate their own tree house, collect treasures, win awards, play games to earn virtual “coins”, and chat with other Panda’s in a controlled environment. They also can express themselves by customizing their own player card and dressing their character. Your child can enjoy an even more fun experience by becoming an Elite Member which allows them to adopt pets, spend their coins on clothes and furniture, and gain access to member only virtual locations.


Is chat safe in Pandanda?

Our team is committed to making Pandanda a safe place for kids to interact and socialize online. When you help your child create a Panda you will have the opportunity to select the level of chat protection appropriate for your child. The two choices are:

• Safe Chat:
Players can choose words and phrases explicitly approved by the Pandanda Team from a pre-determined list. This means they will not be allowed to type their own messages. Players in Safe Chat mode will only be able to see messages from other players using Safe Chat mode. This is the highest level of protection while still allowing your child to express themselves.

• Standard Filtered Chat:
Players may type their own messages, but all messages are filtered to prevent inappropriate words and phrases as well as personal information from being shared. Although precautions are in place to protect your child from offensive chat, comments you might find offensive may occasionally get through. So in addition to our filter, the Pandanda team reviews chat logs regularly and players who participate in inappropriate chat will be silenced or banned permanently.

While playing, you or your child will always have the option to add any player to an “ignore list”. Simply click on the player you wish to ignore and select the “ignore” icon from the circle menu. This will remove the Panda from your child’s experience in the game. If you choose to report a player for offensive behavior the specific issue will be personally investigated by a member of the Pandanda team.

The safety and protection of your child is our top priority and we are committed to making Pandanda a safe place to play.


How much does it cost to play?

It doesn’t cost anything to play Pandanda, however some features like buying furniture for a tree house and buying clothes for your Panda are reserved for Elite Members.

We are currently in Beta and Pandanda and all its features are available to everyone for free for the time being. During Beta we are actively fixing technical problems and bugs that may arise and improving the overall experience based on user feedback. Once Beta is complete only players who have signed up to become Elite Members with paid accounts will have access to all the features.

Pricing has yet to be determined. This area will be updated with that information as it becomes available.


Can my child's account expire?

If your child has a free account and has not been to our site and signed in for over 6 months then it is possible that we have suspended the account. We reserve the right to purge inactive accounts to free up user names to new players. You may re-activate your child’s account if it was suspended for inactivity, as long as Pandanda still has the records on file. Re-activation may take up to 24 hours. If we no longer have your child’s free account in our records then they are always free to sign up for a new free account keeping in mind that their old user name may no longer be available.


Will my child lose their Panda’s stuff if their account expires?

If your child’s account has been suspended for inactivity (they have not signed in for over 6 months) and you are able to re-activate it, then all of the items they acquired before the suspension will be restored. In the event that the free account has been purged to free up the user name for a new player then all their Panda’s items will have been deleted. Your child may always sign up for a new account.


How often is Pandanda updated?

We are always working hard to keep Pandanda exciting, fresh, and fun. You can expect Pandanda updates usually a couple of times a month.


What are the benefits of Pandanda?

Pandanda is a vibrant, fun place for your child to play online. They will be learning money management skills as they play to earn coins and then make decisions on how to spend their coins on experiences and merchandise for their Panda. Pandanda is also a wonderful place for your child to make friends, interact with other kids by playing games and socializing. Features like our newspaper and Quests offer fun ways for your child to practice and enjoy reading.

Pandanda Rules

If you don't want your panda to get banned in Pandanda then you have to follow these rules in Pandanda:

1. Keep chat safe and respectful

Pandanda does not tolerate bad language and discussion of inappropriate topics. This includes swearing, bullying and general disrespectful behavior towards other players. In addition it is not appropriate to discuss drugs, alcohol, sex and racial topics. Players found not obeying the rules will be banned and repeated offenses will result in permanent banning.

2. Never reveal your personal information

Play it safe by never sharing your real name, address, phone number, email address or passwords with anyone online.

3. No Cheating

Players may not use third party programs or create any programs that enable cheating in Pandanda. Use of such programs will result in permanent banning.

So just follow these rules and you will be safe in Pandanda :-)

Pandanda Ghosts of Misty Hill Guide

Here is the guide for "Ghosts of Misty Hill". To play this game open your map, go to Pawthorne Forest, then go to Misty HillsHere is how the room looks like:Ok here is how to play this game:
After every 1-2 minutes the ghosts come down from the sky.
You have to chatch them by running close to them when they start glowing green, click on them.The more ghosts you catch the more points and coins you will get, it also depends on the type of the ghost you catch. There are 2 types of ghosts, Normal Ghosts and Chilly Ghosts.Each normal ghost gives you 2 coins! And the Chilly Ghosts terporarily freezes you. So you have to chatch as many normal ghosts you can catch and have to avoide the chilly ghosts or you will be frozen and you won't be able to move for somethime during the game and due to being frozen, you won't be able to catch other ghosts!Here are few tips on catching the most ghosts:
1. Play in Low Graphics Quality (It doesn’t look good but it makes your panda go faster!)
2. Buy your self a Mouse Hair Potion or Bunny Potion; this will also help you to run fast AND in dogging the chilly ghosts!
3. If a chilly ghost is coming near you then run away don't try to catch it!
Note: The highest amount of coins you can get in this game is 50 coins, so even if you cought more then 25 ghosts you can't get more then 50 coins! You also need to pratice a lot. Or else you won't be able to get total 50 coins!

Hi Pandas,

Today we are ready to announce the winners of the "Find the Dragons Contest". First of all, thank you so much for the many, many correct entries we received. Izzy is delighted that she now knows where all of her Dragons went. She has brought them all back to the Pet shop where they have been enjoying large bowls of D-chow and Flint Nibbles.

3. Search for the golden tickets around pandanda (They pop up like cans and fruits)

Henry's Blog Update: "Find The Dragon's Contest!"

Hi Pandas,

A number of hatched dragons have escaped from the Pet Store and Izzy needs your help finding them throughout Pandanda Land. Izzy is pretty sure that there are ten missing dragons in all and that they could be hidden anywhere!

Dragons really are great at hiding so you will have to be very observant to find them. When they are really still, sometimes waiting for them to blink can help. According to Izzy, you should be able to find at least three now with more wanting to be found throughout the week as they start to get hungry.

When you find a dragon take note where you found it and what color it was and finally when you have found all ten dragons email your entry.

Prizes:

• Two Grand prizes will be awarded by the panel of judges.
• One grand prize will be awarded for the first entry received via email that correctly lists the exact location and color of each of the ten missing dragons.
• Another grand prize will be given away via a raffle chosen from all of the other entries that correctly lists the exact location and color of each of the dragons.
• So you have two chances to win - one if you are the first to send us a correct entry or another chance if your correct entry is chosen in the random raffle.
• Each winner of our two grand prizes will each receive:
• A special Finding Dragons Winning Contest Shirt for your Panda that only our contest winners will own (totally rare and famous!).
• A 3 month membership gift certificate,
• Your winning Pandas picture in Henry's blog,

To submit your entry (have your parent or guardian help you):

1. Read and obey the rules. Entering the competition means that you and your parent/guardian agree to the rules. If you are under 13 years old, please ask your parent or guardian to review them with you, along with our website terms of use.
2. Ask your parent or guardian to email your entry to contest@pandanda.com from their email address, the one they used when they signed you up for Pandanda.
3. Type the words "Find The Dragons Contest" in the subject line of the email.
4. Type your Panda name in the text of the email for example "Panda Name: Paige."
5. Do NOT include your real name, house address or phone number.
6. Email your entry to Pandanda to receive it no later than Sunday, January 24th at Noon, (12:00pm), Pacific Standard Time (PST). There is a limit of one entry per valid email address per day.

Hey gang! Zing Ballyhoo is returning to Pandanda tonight! After spending the holidays with his family, Zing says he was off traveling again to collect some of his most exciting prizes yet.

Zing has placed tickets all over Pandanda for you to collect and exchange for his prizes. You can find tickets on the ground in every location, except your tree house. Whether you're wandering around or just hanging out with your friends, you'll eventually see a ticket appear on the ground. Just be sure to grab it before it disappears! Once you've collected 10 tickets, go visit Zing in the Treehouse Lobby to trade them for a prize!

Pandanda FAQ

Why do some Pandas have an exclamation mark above their head?These Pandas are special characters in Pandanda with fun and exciting activities for you. Each one offers different thing for you to do. You may be able to purchase unique treasures or clothes from some and others are there to buy the things you’ve collected like vegetables, fruits, gems, and, fish. Keep an eye out for new vendors who may have special potions, magic tricks or new games for you to play.

How do I fish?In order to fish you have to have a fishing rod first! Visit Fishy Joe at “Joe’s Bait & Tackle” at the Fishing Hole to buy your rod. Click on Fishy Joe and select the “Buy Items” icon. Joe’s catalog of purchasable items will come up. Once you have bought a fishing rod you can walk over to the water and click anywhere on the water to cast your line. You should notice that your cursor has changed to a fish. After your line has been cast you will have to wait for a fish to bite. You can tell when a fish is on the line by seeing the red floater dip below the water. Click on the floater when you see it dip and you have caught a fish!

How do I collect stuff?

There are all kinds of things to collect in Pandanda; mushrooms, potatoes, onions, litter, gems, treasure chests, and keys to open them. Different things will be available in different locations in the world and new items and special items will be added over time. You can identify the collectable items because they sparkle occasionally. To pick them you need to be close to them so walk your Panda over to the object first. Once you’re close enough you should notice that your cursor changes to the “Paw” icon when your mouse is over the object. This indicates that you can pick it up. Simply click on the object and it is yours! Everything you collect is added to your backpack. You can click the backpack icon in the lower right corner of your screen to see all of your stuff.

How do I sell my stuff?You can make some coins by selling the stuff you have worked so hard to collect. To sell your items you will have to locate the various vendors who will buy them. Not all vendors will buy your stuff and most vendors will only buy specific types of things. For instance Joe at the Fishing Hole only buys fish. These vendors can be located anywhere in Pandanda and will have an exclamation mark above their heads to indicate that you can interact with them. Click on the vendor and select the “Sell Items” icon.

Where can I buy clothes for my Panda?There are a number of catalogs of goods in Pandanda. If you’re interested in buying clothes for your Panda the best place to do that is in the “Clothing Co.” store in East Market Street. Click on the snazzy dressed “Fitch” behind the counter with an exclamation mark above his head and choose the t-shirt icon from the circle menu. In addition to the clothes catalog various vendors around Pandanda may have a few items of clothes to sell you. You’ll have to keep an eye out for them as they sometimes only make special visits.

Where can I buy furniture for my tree house?

Furniture can be purchased from the House & Tree catalog. The catalog is conveniently located in your tree house. You have to be in edit mode to access it however. First, travel to your tree house by clicking on the house icon on the main menu at the bottom of your screen. Next, click on the hammer and saw icon on the upper right side of the screen. The House &Tree catalog should appear in the upper right corner of your screen. In addition to the House & Tree catalog various vendors around Pandanda my have a few items for your tree house for sale. You’ll have to keep and eye out for them as they sometimes only make special visits.

How do I earn coins?

There are a number of ways to earn coins in Pandanda. You can earn them by playing games with your friends or by playing single player games on your own. Another way to earn coins is by collecting items like fruit, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, and gems that appear in various locations and selling them to vendors in Pandanda. You can go fishing at the Fishing Hole and sell your fish to Joe at Joe’s Bait and Tackle too.

Why do only some of the games show up in my games list?

Multiplayer games that you play with your friends like Line Four and Pen the Pig are located around Pandanda Land. You can play them anytime by walking up to a game board and clicking on it. These games will not show up in your Games list.

Single player games that you play on your own like Dragon’s Treasure are also found around Pandanda Land. Once you have played a single player game for the first time it will be added to your Games list. After that you can play the game anytime by clicking on it from the Games list.

How do I add friends to my friends list?

When you meet another Panda that you want to be friends with click on them and select the “Add Friend” icon from the circle menu. It looks like two Pandas next to each other with a green plus sign. This will send a message to the other Panda asking them if they’ll be your friend. If they accept then their Panda name will be added to your Friends list. Your friends list is located on the main menu bar on the right hand side.

If a friend is in Pandanda how do I find them?If a friend is playing in Pandanda already you can find them by clicking on your friend’s Panda name in your friends list. This will bring up their player card. If you click on the icon that looks like the compass you can “travel to player”. This will transport you to the same location as your friend.

How do I customize my player card?

Simply click on yourself in the game and select the panda face icon from the circle menu. This will bring up your player card. To customize it you can click on the “customize” button in the lower right corner. You can change the card skin color and if you own any backgrounds you can change the picture that shows up behind your Panda. When you change the clothes or background on your Panda in your closet these will show up in your player card automatically.

Can other Pandas visit my tree house?

Yes! But you have to unlock your tree house first. To unlock your tree house go to your tree house by clicking on the “house” icon on the main menu bar. Once you are in your tree house click on the “key” icon on the right hand side of the screen. If the key icon shows a door in the middle of it then you know your tree house is unlocked. If you want to lock it again just click on the same key icon and the small door on the key will be closed showing that it is locked.

How do I ignore a player?If another player is bothering you and you would like them to go away you can click on them and choose “ignore player” from the circle menu. You will get a confirmation dialog asking if you’re sure you want to ignore the player. If you say yes, the player will disappear from your experience in the game. You can always un-ignore the player later if you want to see them in the game again. Ignored players names are added to your ignore list which you can access by clicking the “friends” icon (looks like two pandas) on the menu bar. Click on the ignore player icon at the top of the menu to see a list of ignored players. Simply click on the player’s name you wish to un-ignore and they will reappear in your game experience again. If you happen to be in the same location as the panda you just un-ignored you will need to leave the location and return to it to see the freshly un-ignored player.

How do I report a player?If you witness a panda breaking the Pandanda rules and wish to report the player simply click on the player and choose the “Report Player” icon from the circle menu (it looks like the sheriff badge). A dialog will pop up with a text box for you to explain what happened. A thorough explanation is helpful. Depending on the offense appropriate action will be taken.

Pandanda Bunny Chase Guide

Here is the guide for "Bunny Chase". To play this game open you map and go to Darby Field

Ok here is how to play the game:
After ever 2-3 minutes the bunnies will escape from their cage (when Farmer Den yells "Oh no! The bunnies are escaping! Catch them!")

You have to catch them by running close to them and when they start glowing click on them.
The more bunnies you catch the more coins you will get, it also depends on the type of bunny. Black bunny are the rarest bunnies and hardly you will be about to see 3-4 black bunnies. Each black bunny gives 6 coins. The brown bunnies are the second rarest, you will be able to see a few number of brown bunnies. Each brown bunny gives 2 coins. The white bunnies are the most common bunnies, you can find them easily, they are almost everywhere. Each white bunny gives 1 coin.

Here are a few tips on catching the most bunnies:
1. Play in Low Graphics Quality (It don’t look good but it makes your Panda go fast!)
2. If you’re an Elite Member then buy your self a "Bunny Potion" from Paige, you will find her at Bear Hollow out site the Book Nook. And if you not an Elite Member on Pandanda then buy “Mouse Hair Potion” instead of Bunny Potion. The Bunny Potion will make your Panda look like a bunny, then your panda will be able to run faster then ever and also other Panda will be confused, they will think you’re also a bunny; this will mess up their game ;-). The Mouse Hair Potion will make your panda tiny and you will have the ability to run faster then other pandas!
3. Stay near the Bushes, Bunnies cage and Farmer Den, because you will find many bunnies there.

NOTE: The highest amount of coins in this game is 50. Even if you got more score then 50, you won’t get more then 50 coins!
Also you need to practice a lot because practice makes a man(panda) perfect ;-) I also hope you that this Bunny Chase Guide helped you!
